Furtherfield is a comfortable and welcoming home-from-home, sleeping up to 3 guests across two bedrooms. Downstairs, you’ll find a cosy living room where you can put your feet up after a day exploring, along with a dining area and well-equipped kitchen with everything you need for an easy self-catering stay.

To the rear is a private garden with outdoor furniture – a peaceful spot for a morning coffee, an afternoon in the sunshine or simply enjoying the fresh Norfolk air. With fields surrounding the property and very little light pollution, clear evenings can be particularly lovely for sitting outside and watching the stars. There is also the convenience of private driveway parking for one car directly at the property.

The Location

Furtherfield sits in the peaceful Norfolk village of Reedham, right in the heart of the Broads. Take a stroll down towards Reedham Quay and the River Yare, where you’ll find traditional riverside pubs, beautiful views and fish and chips by the water. The village itself is full of character and is home to both its famous railway swing bridge and Norfolk’s only operating chain ferry, carrying cars across the River Yare.

Families are brilliantly placed for Pettitts Animal Adventure Park, which is less than half a mile away. For a day beside the sea, Great Yarmouth is around 11.5 miles away, with its long sandy beach, attractions and traditional seaside entertainment. Alternatively, head into Norwich for independent shops, restaurants, historic lanes, Norwich Cathedral and the castle. Reedham also has its own railway station, making it possible to explore further afield without taking the car.
